Mary Lou's Story
Life
I was born near Prestonsburg, KY
where I now reside
with 4 stray dogs and
two stray cats. I do have a sense of humor.I have been widowed since
1974 and have one son,who is an attorney. He is married and has two wonderful stepsons.
He and his family live in Ashland, KY
with their two dogs,
Ringo and Betsy.
My latest interest involves my passion:singing. I
do karaoke singing every month at the Country Music Highway Museum in nearby Paintsville. Although I have always sung, did not have the confidence to sing solos, but now I'm finding that I do enjoy singing...Expand for more
solos. I guess it's never too late to fulfill
one's dreams.
This is my current philosophy.
I do continue to sing, which is my passion. I belong to
the United Methodist church
and retired teachers'
organizations. I have
many dear relatives and
friends who bring joy to my life.My pastimes are watching tv, taking care of my animals, attending church, going to movies and visiting family, also shopping and looking for bargains.
